The Epson 7820/40 printer is the best I have ever used.

Having been in the marketing/design/print industry for a long time, I've purchased dozens of printers from desktops ... to production machines ... to wide format. Most have been either HP or Epson brands. I even had one of the first Xerox office machines (who is Xerox?).
I used to be an HP aficionado, but used to be's are has been. Last year I bought an HP 9015e Office Pro All In One printer. What a piece of junk. After the third replacement, in less than a year, failed, I was done with HP. Try to contact them ... almost impossible. Their customer service is awful ... their software is difficult to use ... and their Instant Ink program is a ripoff.
Thus, for very little money I purchased the Epson 7820 which can print excellent quality up to 13 x 19 on a variety of paper stocks. The 7840 has an additional 250 sheet paper tray.
The printer is extremely easy to set up and very dependable. Unlike HP software, you don't need to log in to do a simple scan. Since I design catalogs and websites, I love the 13 x 19 paper size.
So, for someone who wants a quality printer/scanner which can print an oversized sheet, the Epson 7820 or 7840 are a great choice. Depending on when you purchase, the price at Amazon ranges from $300 to $500 with the 7840 being slightly more expensive due to the second paper tray.
